August already, where has the summer gone! We are awaiting the last 2 cria of the season. Treasure and Adelaide certainly seem ready!. We havealready been blessed this year with 7 little cria who are growing bigger and stronger by the day. We had our first preemie, Kayleigh, born at only 10 pounds. After a rocky start, she seems to be doing well.
Exiting news for us Connecticut folks, the New England Coastal Classic is moving from Maine to Worcester, MA this year! It will make it much more convenient for us and we hope you can take a ride up to the DCU center and say hello. It takes place November 7-8, 2009.
We did manage a few non-alpaca related excursions this summer. In June we headed to Cancun, Mexico for a much needed vacation. We had a lovely visit to Buttonwood Farm for the sunflower festival and the girls have spent lots of quality time with Mema and Papa Tom traveling around on the RV.
